High Prairie Health Complex

The complex will include an emergency department, acute care, outpatient services, inpatient surgery and day surgery, medical clinics and primary care services, palliative care, Aboriginal health services, obstetrics services, addiction and mental health services, home care services, public health services including chronic disease, child development and health promotion, diagnostic imaging, laboratory and in-patient pharmacy services. Construction was suspended in 2010, pending the re-structuring of Alberta Health and the regional health boards.

Construction costs are estimated at $80 million, for a gross floor area of 12,000 square metres.

The Architect of Record is Stantec Architecture, with Richard Limmert in the roles of Principal in charge and Design Architect.
