Over the past seven years, Richard Limmert has participated in multidisciplinary design teams to create seven medical training simulation centers. These cutting-edge facilities are at the forefront of educational programs developed to bring the multitude of students and practitioners in the health care fields together for team skills training. Simulation recreates real-life experiences in a controlled safe learning environment.
Six of the seven projects are featured in this portfolio. The last simulation center is the Dilawri Simulation Centre, located in the Regina General Hospital in Regina, Saskatchewan (no photos and drawings are currently available).The center is a small facility, at 3000 square feet, providing training to both professionals and students.
